Microsoft commissions a learning experience that teaches educators how to prepare students for the 21st century workforce.

Little Planet worked with Microsoft's Partners in Learning initiative to create a program that teaches educational leaders how to prepare students for the 21st Century workforce. Enthusiastic reception from educators around the world convinced Microsoft to commission a second program on assessment, which is in development now.

The program is being offered to 80+ countries. Little Planet created a localization technology that makes it possible to efficiently create versions for 20+ languages (including Hebrew and Chinese).

Dr. John Bransford leads the content creation team and is incorporating many of his new insights, including instruction on adaptive expertise. As Bransford notes, "This (adaptive expertise) concept is needed for the 21st century where people must balance between being efficient and developing capabilities for inquiry and new innovation. That's a whole different model of what it means to be a competent professional, because if you're going to be a learner it means you have to ask questions, you've got to know you don't know everything."
